the lore of this is basically, in the british comic series, Sonic the Comic, Sonic was more of a ignorant, stubborn, jackass who made fun of Tails a lot, but he was usually STILL the hero besides the Super form,

however, in this universe, after realizing how his "friends" talked behind his back constantly, he took Robotnik's side, and after Tails realized what they both had to do, Tails, upset and afraid, took the anger and sadness inside, and used it as a tool to stop Robotnik and Sonic,

whilst Sonic didn't care.

He wasn't a hero anymore, in the end, it doesn't matter who is wrong,

or who is Right.
