We at Toy Tasting felt like having some desserts, so we came up with an idea of making cake pops and candies and that too with our favorite play doh. They are simple, colorful and a great dessert to make in less time.

Cakepops are moist bites of cake that are popped into sticks. Let’s see the cake pops recipe with our colorful play-doh. To make a cake pop, take your favorite colored playdoh and make a round big ball. Once it is done, take a cake pop stick and place it under the ball of playdoh. Your cake pop is ready. You can decorate it the way you want. We simply decorated it with the polka dots. For that, take your favorite colored play-doh and make dots of it and stick it around your cake pop.

In order to prepare the candy, here is the candies recipe. You need to take your favorite colored playdough and flatten it a bit. Use your most loved cutter and create a shape out of it. We wanted a flower candy so we took a flower cutter. Once done, place the flower under the candy stick. Your candy is ready but to decorate it you can add more variations. We wanted to make it simple so we just a dot in the middle, giving it a real flower shape. Yay! This completes your flower candy.

We made it easy to make playdoh candies and cake pops. You can widen your creativity as much as possible with playdough. Playdoh sets enhance pretend play in kids. With a kid's imagination, play dough can be turned into number of things. Play doh set adds an extra sensory dimension into their play and it is not too messy to tidy up.
