Making (my 1st) hat from scratch in 7 days

The process of making my first wool hat last November. You can buy hat blocks, but I was on a time crunch so I made one from an old redwood board. I've gotten much better at millinery since this first go, but posting anyway as it's the only one I've fully documented so far.

- building a hat block (0:08)
- blocking the felt (1:16)
- stiffening, shaping (2:01)
- lighting it on fire - old hatmakers' technique, tightens the fibers - (3:06)
