hindū svayansēvaka saṅgha prārthanā (हिन्दू स्वयंसेवक सङ्घ प्रार्थना लेटिन, HSS Prarthana Latin)

This beautiful prayer is from one of the largest Hindu volunteer organizations outside Bhārata (India): hindū svayansēvaka saṅgha (hindū svayansēvaka saṅgha) or simply HSS. The prayer is popularly known as hindū svayansēvaka saṅgha prārthanā (HSS Prārthanā). It is recited at almost all regular meetings and special events of the organization. The organization hindū svayansēvaka saṅgha (HSS) aims to learn, practice and promote the ageless and timeless values of our rich culture and heritage. The activities and programmes of HSS develop, in its members, both a love for Bhārata as the Holy Land of the Hindus and the spirit of eternal Hinduism which means love for the whole of humanity regardless of race, country, nationality, religion, sect, faith, caste or creed. All these elements are visible in this prayer -- seeking blessings from Mother Earth and Paramātmā (the Supreme Self). This spirit enables its members to become better and more useful citizens where ever they live. Many people also refer to this song by its opening verse, i.e., sarvamaṅgala māṅgalyāṁ dēvīṁ sarvārtha sādhikām (sarva mangal maangalyaam devim sarvartha saadhikaam).
