Columbus Zoo & Zoombezi Bay Water Park

Back to the Columbus Zoo for day 2! We finished the Africa and Asia portion of the zoo and then went to ZOOMBEZI Bay which is a water park in the zoo! The water park is great, but the lines are soooooooo long!!!! Over an hour wait for each slide. Its just over crowded. My opinion- they should set a limit on the number of people or have some time of return window or virtual que. I think they do have that but it costs extra... Most of the slides are 48+, since CJ is just under that he couldnt get on most of the slides anyway. We stayed there for a short period and then we went back to our favorite place- PINS MECHANICAL CO. Seriously this place is the bomb .COM! Then off to north market for dinner.

And then........ we went to FIELD OF CORN. This is a yard full of concrete corn in Columbus, Ohio. It was so funny, and ofcourse we needed to do a short (Which I do have posted already!).

This was a great trip! If you are looking to travel to the Columbus Zoo - here are a few trip recommendations
1) I would check out THE WILDS which is a animal sanctuary about 30 minutes from the zoo, and then the next day check out the COLUMBUS ZOO. You can do this zoo in one day, if you don't do the rides and water park.
2) I wouldn't go to the water park again. If the kids wanted to do some rides Id opt to do that instead.
3) It isn't very far to drive up to CEDAR POINT, I think around 2 hours or so. So if you really want to do some awesome rides, Id arrive and stay in DUBLIN (go to PINS, and KITCHEN SOCIAL for dinner!!!!). Then day 2 go to the columbus zoo. After the zoo get WHITE CASTLE (because why not!!!!), drive up and stay near Cedar POint, day 3 go there and drive home day 4. - I only had 3 days so we couldn't squeeze it in this time.
