-29-year-old Babar Azam is set to be reinstated as the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, while Shahid Afridi contemplates stepping down from leadership. Sources close to Afridi have advised against resigning. The selection committee has recommended Babar Azam's captaincy to PCB Chairman Mohsin Khan, and Babar will lead the team in the upcoming 5 T20 matches against New Zealand.
