A clash erupted late on Monday night between a group of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress workers in Bharatnagar, Borananda, resulting in injuries to a Congress activist named Imran, as confirmed by Borabanda police. Imran, the injured Congress worker, has been hospitalized.

Subsequently, a significant number of Congress workers gathered at the police station, urging action against those responsible. DCP Joel Davis assured them that appropriate measures would be taken against the perpetrators of the attack.
During his visit to the police station, Azharuddin called for the immediate arrest of the individual responsible for assaulting Imran. The police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
