(3 Mar 2020) Seoul began to operate "drive-through" coronavirus testing centers around the city on Tuesday.
These testing centers have been set up to enable people showing suspected symptoms to get tested for the new virus with minimum human contact.
Various cities across South Korea have also adopted this diagnosis system to help prevent further spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, South Korea's market opened with a sharp increase following overnight gains on Wall Street.
As of 9:04 a.m Wednesday morning local time (0004GMT), the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was at 2045.72, which was 43.21 points (2.16 percent) higher than the previous day's close.
