This will have the appearance of a Battle Report, but we will explain in detail all the rules, every step of the way. Timeline may allow you to skip to a part of the rule you are interested to discover.

I really tried to go in detail for each rule, then playing a full turn, in order to cover most cases of "what can happen" in the game. Of course, if you have any question about any rule, or about the game in general, ask in the comments and I'll make sure to answer it quickly.
