Repair LED or LCD TV That Wont Power On

In this video we are going to repair a Samsung TV, now if your TV is LG, SONY, Panasonic, HiSence, Sharp, Phillips, and others.

I will replacing the power board because it has failed. Sometimes you can see blown caps or burn marks on the board. Other components may have blown on that power board, in my case the fuse was blown, if you are lucky, you may be OK to replace the fuse, a lot of the time this will just blow the fuse again if there is a problem with the power board. So I was lucky to source a part for this TV and I will swap out the power board for a known good board.

If you want to repair your board, then you will need to find what components have failed and replace them. To do this you will need a multimeter. Sometimes its not worth the effort as replacement power boards can sometimes be picked up cheap.

You will need some skills and understanding of electronic components and how they work.

If you are unsure and not skilled in these areas, its best left to someone who does. It can be dangerous working with electrical components and even fatal.
