With the theme “Justice Through Compassion & Resilience” and participation from many local faith traditions and dignitaries, this 33rd Annual observance promises to bring greater awareness to the common goals, principles and values shared across all faith traditions.

While fostering closer bonds of unity, cooperation and understanding amongst such diversity, the global community continues to seek ways to create pathways in the world for peace.

Representatives from each religion share how their tradition understands and embraces this year’s theme, followed by a sacred reading or prayer. Moments of music videos, interactive chat, on-screen engagement, and a closing Q&A will also be part of the program.

Participants include Dr. Brian Carwana (Executive Director of the Encounter World Religions Centre), John Brassard, Member of Parliament Barrie-Innisfil, Jeff Wellman (Inter-faith Co-ordinator with Am Shalom Congregation), City of Barrie Mayor Jeff Leahman, Catherine Manson, Kelly Manson, Francine Uppiah, Susan Ludwig, Marg Raynor, David Lochhead, Barrie Muslim Youth (Islam), Simcoe Sangat Comunity (Sikh), and Troy Roach (emcee).
