With the International Maritime Museum Prof. Peter Tamm's collection has
now found a permanent home in his home city, the City of Hamburg. This private maritime collection, the largest in the world, has been housed in the historic Kaispeicher B warehouse in the Harbour City since 25 June 2008. In its first year, over 150,000 people have already visited the privately managed seafaring museum. When he was six years old, Peter Tamm was given a little model ship by his mother as a present. It all began with imagination, a longing and the vast expanse of the sea. What drives people to take to the seas and set sail for new shores? Peter Tamm continued collecting throughout his life, with passion and a good eye, with a collector's luck and patience, enchanted by the history and the stories, fascinated by sea voyages and ships, by their ports and by the people who devoted their lives to it all.

Kristin Schmidt from Visit Berlin would like to invite Canadians to visit Berlin. The Canadians who already visited Berlin really liked the city. They told there friends and come back a couple of times. Kristin tells us what you can visit in Berlin.
