This should really be called an analysis of a track’s rhythms rather than a lesson. It’s too much for a beginner to take in, but then not everyone is a beginner. I think the main take-away is that the ‘simple’ (bass drum) and the ‘complex’ (hands) can and do co-exist quite happily, and that’s one of the great seductions of rhythmic work.
