In this video we utilize the Water Fed Pole technique which provides pure, mineral free water to clean the panels.

As you can see in the video, the panels get bluer and shinier as the debris is removed. All that dust covering the panels actually reflects the photons away from the panel instead of allowing them to pass through and trap them inside to create energy.

Soap and detergents will harm your the panels which is why they are not used. Giving them a good scrub with a brush agitates the glass and allows the pure water to push the debris down and off the panels.

Using a brush is necessary to remove the debris, rain alone DOES NOT clean your panel. These panels were cleaned just after the rainy season in preparation for Spring and you can see how dirty they still are. Think of your car being out in the rain; is it worse or better after? If your car is covered in dust, does the rain wash the windows and leave them sparkly? The same principals relate to solar panels, dust and debris on glass.
