The ABSOLUTE EASIEST Way to Repair a Fridge Door Shelf in 2024 - ASMR

Who can afford to spend £55 on a replacement door shelf for their 12 year old Fridge Freezer? Not Nikki for sure. So, she shows you how to fix it with an old soldering iron and some UV-cured crafting resin.

This video has an ASMR vibe & friends that have seen it, tell me that every channel should have this sort of content for those wishing to CHILLAX watching someone else doing the work – in this case me, Nikki.

• Any old working soldering iron will do for this project, so if you do not have one, just ask a friend or neighbour if they can loan you one.
• I use my soldering iron to pop holes in the bottom of plastic ice cream tubs so I can use them as zero-cost plant pots. I also my iron to poke through lidded tubs for my composting worm bins – faster & safer than using an electric drill.
• Just take care to wear protection to eyes, hands and respiratory passages if working with a soldering iron indoors. Ideally, so the work outside or in a very well ventilated room with extraction.

• I used a very small amount of resin in this project – probably about 40g and I will be using this resin a lot over Christmas for Craft Projects. It is a good alternative to some glue and sealant applications and can even be pigmented to suit your needs.

• BUT bear in mind you do not need this product for this project – ypu can use WD40 or even a few drops of cooking oil to stop the resin sticking to the plastic template we used.
• I have used Silicone lubricant for decades on curtain tracks and drawers to make them glide perfectly when you want to open and close them.
