this is the first lifecycle I have completed for the Samia Eri silk moths, I was kindly gifted some cocoons and they have recently completed a full lifecycle.
these moths are great for beginners and the caterpillars are easy to raise too as long as you follow some simple steps such as not over crowding them too much and keeping every thing nice and clean.
The moths will only live for around 10days once hatched! but the beautiful thing is having the opportunity to raise the moths large and start the lifecycle again
