With that being said, only certain players are allowed to wear the special No. 7 jersey & CB Derek Stingley Jr. wore it this past season.

After his first two seasons, Stingley was viewed as the top cornerback in college football. Some even have him as the best overall defensive player. He’s a lockdown corner like Darrelle Revis & Richard Sherman, but he’s also a hall hawk like Ed Reed. Many believe that Stingley could’ve been a 1st round pick in the last two drafts even without him playing much in 2020 & 2021. That’s how talented Derek Stingley Jr. is already.
