In this video I examine the parallels between John Delorean and Elon Musk and there equal attempts to disrupt the monopoly big car business, and their relationship and dependence on Lotus Cars, as the primary disrupter. The founder of Lotus Cars, Colin Chapman invented the philosophy of Simplify, Add Elegance and Lightness. Using this philosophy he won against the multinational formula one scene in Europe as well as at Indianapolis in the USA. Chapman and Delorean were both remarkable individualists who were both taken out by the powers that be for being too successfull. Nuff Said.
