Far Ings NNR - Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust (2021)

Описание к видео Far Ings NNR - Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust (2021)

A film I made as a volunteer for Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust in 2021.

The video discusses Far Ings, an 80-hectare nature reserve on the south bank of the Humber estuary. Historically a clay-digging area, it now features reed beds and freshwater wetlands. The reed beds, vital for rare bird species like Bittern, Bearded Tit and Marsh Harrier, are managed to prevent succession. Volunteers play a crucial role in day-to-day operations, emphasising the need for public support and responsible behaviour.
