The Gun Run Land Nav 05/18/2024

Our Shooting stages at The Gun Run Land Nav special event May 18th, 2024. We traveled approximately 9.2 miles, found 5 points via map and compass, and shot 8 stages. This is my third time at this event and my partner's first, we both learned quite a bit. I consistently ended up ~50 meters short of each land nav point, I should increase my pace count in thick undergrowth. I need to keep a better gauge on my partners exertion, I carried all the food in my pack so it was harder for him to get snacks when needed. Reading comprehension and communication goes downhill rapidly when exhaustion sets in.
