The marathi play "Raghupati Raghav Rajaram" is based on the deleterious effects of consumerism and the material need to amass wealth. One of the brothers, Rajaram, is a manager in a bank. He lives with his wife, daughter and father.

Raghupati, the eldest brother, is supposed to be living with his family overseas. Raghupati decides to visit Rajaram and his family in Mumbai. The news moves Rajaram's family to action as they gear up to welcome their NRI relatives. Since Raghupati's son, Nikhil, is addicted to TV, Rajaram's family decides to call in a TV mechanic to get their TV repaired.

Once the TV mechanic arrives, the play assumes a surreal character as this mechanic lay bare the innermost thoughts of each character in the play! To add to this moral comedy are Rajaram's noisy neighbours. And if this seems less enough, there is a suspense as to the whereabouts of the middle brother, Raghav
