Caribbean Rain Forest Excursion - Hike, Ride, Zip Line

In many Caribbean Islands, there is a company that will have set up some form of adventure in the rain forest. St Lucia has a very well refined and organised set of Rain Forest adventures. There is a HIKE which is available on many islands and will be similar to the one we show. Watch the film for a run down of a walk through the rain forest. Some will have zip lines, though few will be as organised as the one we show. Some have the amazing Aerial Tram, Canopy ride, or cable car. Whilst they will have different approaches, this amazing film will show what to expect and give you an idea of how to judge what is on offer.
For example:

Dominica - at the UNESCO-listed Morne Trois Pitons National Park, you will discover untouched rainforests, splendid waterfalls, gorges and valleys, and even a boiling lake.

Tobago offers a number of rain forest trails and has a few different variety of hummingbirds.

Bermuda features Tom Moore's Jungle with cliff jumps into blue water and caves to explore as well.

Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic have tall mountains with closed canopy forests with a second layer and an abundance of palms and tree ferns.

Puerto Rico boasts a diverse ecosystem, with hundreds of unique plant and animal species, including Puerto Rico's famous coquí frog. It is more about swimming in pools and rivers in the forest but there is the High Flying adventure that is close to San Juan.

Antigua has a zip line in its forest but the queue can be long if you have not booked.

St Thomas has extreme zip lines, and some raised canopy walks that will test your nerves.

Punta Cana in the Dom Rep has extreme zip lines side by side.
There are three types of tours in the rain forest to appeal to most guests. Hike, Slide, or air tram..... Footwear is a consideration for hiking. A coat of some kind and water in your back pack.
