Wipeout Retro Review and Lap Time Challenge (

This week I'm reviewing one of my all time favourite racers (no pressure!!). This is the classic, futuristic game WipeOut from 1995 (Psygnosis) - being played on the Playstation 1 (although I subsequently discovered this version of the game was not a Sony exclusive, that came later when Sony picked up Psygnosis).

This game was an absolute dream back in the day, I loved the genre and the setting. With an amazing "grown up" soundtrack and beautiful 3D graphics, this was a defining moment in gaming history. How does it hold up today? Is the magic still there? Is it still playable?
