Nyarlathotep - H.P. Lovecraft | Animation | Horror Short

Lovecraft written in 1920, featuring for the very first time the Crawling Chaos disguised as a Pharaoh taking over a small town and having the townsfolk descend into madness, revealing to them the unfathomable horrors that lurk in the abyss.

Nyarlathotep is certainly one of the most interesting deities of Lovecraft, as he enjoys toying with the minds of humans and thrives in the chaos that it unleashes into the world. Out of all the deities, you could say that Nyarlathotep is the only deity that understands primitive human morality and goes out of its way to torture and bring the destruction of sanity.
