Abud is one of the original beat heads from São Paulo / SP, a place where hip hop culture is infected in peoples’ dnas, since its the closest thing to a local folklore manifestation we got.
A devoted golden era spirit whose creative ritual is vinyl-sampled, MPC-processed, and scratch-infused. He was born in breaks and raised in rhythm, largely fed by jazz and other styles of instrumental music.
It’s only fitting that a cat with such a vast, varied sound pallet finds a music wise twin soul in a land far faraway from home. But when things are meant to be, not even the ocean in between can stop the rock. The album you’re holding right now is a proof of that.

Bad FX was born in London, a Jamaican roots resident microphone fiend. A true underground king, the MC is a part of the Omniverse crew, whose other members also make appearances throughout the journey here.
Bad’s vocals and cadences fit Abud’s b-boy batuque effortlessly, and the results ain’t nothing but classic boom bap, fresh for ‘21. The reason for the palatable easy going feeling that the full length exhale?
