Today's No BS Interrogation brings us to
Alex Murdaugh claimed he was visiting his mother at the time and found his wife and son dead when he returned home.
Needless to say, detectives want to question Alex, as they would in any investigation of a homicide. These are Alex's first interrogation taken by detectives around 1am the night of the murders...

As many of you may have seen, Alex Murdaugh took this case all the way to trial, where there were MOUNTAINS of evidence against him... But not only for murder... LOTS of financial crimes as well. Alex's world was crumbling around him, and one can only assume that money was the reason for him killing his wife and child.

In September of 2022, Alex Murdaugh pleaded guilty to 21 counts of money laundering and 19 counts of wire fraud... He used a scheme to steal millions from his clients at his law firm. He created af ake bank account to funnel settlement money into from his clients...
In March 2023, a jury found Murdaugh guilty of the murders of Maggie and Paul.

In April of 2024, Murdaugh was sentenced to 40 years in prison on federal financial charges, which are being served consecutively with his murder sentences, in which he received 2 life terms for the slaying of his wife and son...
