Coastal and delta districts remain waterlogged as the system moves slowly towards the north TN and Puducherry coast. India has stepped up relief efforts in Sri Lanka under Operation Sagar Bandhu, deploying naval ships and sending relief materials. NDRF teams are on the ground, and fishermen have been advised to stay ashore as conditions remain severe.
