Track 6 from their fourth studio album "The Unforgettable Fire" released in 1984 copyright Island Records. It was recorded at historic Slane Castle in County Meath and Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin, Ireland. At this point in their career, they felt the need to take risks to expand their sound and sought a new producer to that end. Even Steve Lillywhite, who had produced all their albums so far, agreed that a new production approach would be a benefit for the next album. They approached the best in the business and were able to secure Brian Eno, formerly of Roxy Music and a rising star as a producer, and Daniel Lanois, his preferred recording engineer. Brian Eno acted more as a production manager and Lanois produced most of the album himself. The band continued to write songs with political themes and their opinions of society, some of which would become classics. The album received mostly excellent reviews and reached No. 27 in Portugal, No. 12 in the U.S., No. 6 in Sweden and Norway, No. 5 in Canada and No. 1 in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. It achieved Gold status in France, Switzerland and the Netherlands, 2X Platinum in the U.K. and 3X Platinum in the U.S. and Canada. Recorded from the original vinyl.
