Here in the Nature Park, due to the drought of last summer and the lack of groundwater, new projects for the renaturation of the forests were started. There are five of these nNatural Forest Reserves here in the area that the locals call the ''Bischofsheimer Forst''. These forest areas are important and necessary for the variety and biodiversity of this habitats A natural forest can develop here. The area is a habitat for many native birds, insects and amphibian species. For me as a park ranger, these types of protected areas are an important and special part of my work. A positive development in the right direction. We have to start rethinking. In the interests of all of us.We need to keep a close eye on this unique areas.
