Mafex Scarlet Spider dropped today! I was in the shop by chance and went through the Mafex figures, then saw them again 15 minutes later and holy cow there they were! I was unsure about this guy but when I saw the beautiful alternate head that matched the art from one of my first comics, I couldn't resist! I highly recommend this one as he has the usual quality of Mafex and comes with a whole bunch of webs for display purposes. He beats my expensive Marvel Legend version (though I do still like it as it holds up around kids well). I'm recording this after midnight so I may have spoken a bit quietly too this time around.
Please don't mind my weird annunciation. Too many years as an English teacher in Japan has made me annunciate everything too much! Thanks for watching as always.
Edit: Guys, I changed the title since I realize this is a bad review. I'm an idiot and should have taken off the plastic to show the shading. I also didn't realize at the time I failed to even spin the figure around. Thank you guys for pointing it out. I should have done it today when I'm thinking straight instead of 1-2 in the morning, so I'll take another whack at a proper review later today. Thank you for the comments because it helps me improve. I'm making a checklist to follow for my next review so it is more practiced than simply taking multiple takes and choosing the best one.
