Babette's Legacy

Every Fall, elders in the Covenant Presbyterian Church (CPC) denomination across the United States gather with their wives to deepen relationships among churches during the Elder's Summit. In 2021, Heritage Church hosted this gathering in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with a strong desire to bless these shepherds and share a taste of His goodness.

Food was prepared deliberately to build a culinary crescendo throughout the 3-day Summit. And to end with a tasty descant, Babette's Feast was selected as the storied dinner. Guests watched the 1987 Danish film just before experiencing the same 7-course meal for themselves. Not for the usual 12 guests, but for 39.
