You can't give God anything. He owns everything. However, you need God for everything.
Tithes and offering have nothing to do with giving God money. Money is important, but money is never a problem. The mismanagement of your money is.

Managing your Wealth: -
1) Honor God with your wealth.
2) Bring your whole tithe.
3) God always gives you something to bring to him.

How the Bibile teach us?
Genesis 2:15 - Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.
Cultivate it and keep it = Resource management.

Proverbs 3:9-10 - Honor the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce. So, your barns will be filled with new wine.
Honor the Lord = Do not use God to make wealth.
The first of all your produce = God always gives you something to honor him with.
Will overflow = From "being filled" to "overflowing".

Malachi 3:10 - "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My House, and test me now in this "Says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the window of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows."

"Bring" - Not giving
"Whole tithe" - Note less
"My House" - Not lack for God's purposes and works
"Test Me" - God will be faithful
"Heaven" - Walking under an open heaven
"Overflows" - From being filled to overflowing

1 Chronicles 29:14 - But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from you, and from your hand we have given you.

God is our management discipline.
Proverbs 10:22 - The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
