I am delighted to serve as "the only one expert in architecture and architectural history" within the editorial team of “SAHARA, Society of Architectural Historians, Architecture Resources Archive” funded by the Mellon Foundation during July 2024 - June 2025.

With my exemplary architectural knowledge from my scholarship at MIT, Harvard and Columbia universities (field: architectural history), I have guided SAHARA with my dedicated service by updating its +3000 archival items and publishing my 2365 high quality architectural, interior, landscape photographs including cutting-edge climate resilience and efficient energy buildings in MIT, Harvard, Northeastern, Boston, Yale universities, etc.

About Content and Scope of SAHARA:

1. As of April 24th, 2025, SAHARA’s three digital collections were accessible. (SAHARA’s Public Collection, Member Collection and the Color Film Emergency Project). As of April 24th, 2025, SAHARA included 200,552 items in these three digital collections. (1).

2. As of April 24th 2025, “106, 323” SAHARA archival items were from “the same contributor (the only one person” among 200,552 SAHARA archival items. 3. According to SAHARA’s official page, it was initiated in 2008. (2). It is highly critical for an architecture resources archive to have “106, 323” SAHARA archival items from “the only one contributor / person among 200,552 SAHARA archival items. (2025: 17 years).

4. As I clearly expressed in “the SAH Board of Directors” meeting in Atlanta (April, 2025), we need “data” about the content and scope of SAHARA, Society of Architectural Historians, Architecture Resources Archive funded by the Mellon Foundation.

4.1. “The SAH Data Project” was released in 2021. However, this data project by “SAH” does not include data about the scope and content of SAHARA developed by “SAH” (and initiated in 2008). (3).
