Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Muscat on Wednesday (December 17) for a two-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, where he was personally received by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq at Muscat International Airport. Visuals showed the Sultan greeting and embracing the Indian Prime Minister, followed by a meeting between the two leaders.

A formal reception ceremony was held at the VIP hall of the airport, where Sultan Haitham escorted PM Modi to the honour platform and the Indian national anthem was played.
