ADDING REALISTIC DETAILS TO YOUR PLATFORMS – PICCADILLY STATION REBUILD PROJECT

As the extension itself is pretty much done, I want to focus on Manchester Piccadilly station and get it much more complete this time round. My intention is to add all those details like info boards, seats, cones, people etc etc etc, there are simply tons of bits and bobs, not to mention buildings that I still need to create. Whilst many parts have been 3d printed there will, in time, be more scratch building with traditional methods, yet at the same time the finish from the 3d printer can be much more detailed & accurate than I could achieve.

In this video I:
• I explain the types of things than need to be created.
• Show varying photographs taken on my visit in December 2018.
• Demonstrate briefly what I do to ‘finish’ the varying models.
• Showcase the station as this round of work is completed.
