Researchers with the Wonders of the Mekong’s acoustic telemetry study are working hard to understand fish migration in the Lower Mekong River.
Routinely, our researchers are out tagging fish, collecting data, and working with local communities to maintain our network of receivers installed last year. In this video, our partner researcher, Jack from FISHBIO, shows you what a typical field day on the Mekong is like. We also have some updates on Boramy, the 300kg Giant Stingray tagged and released by our team last June.
