Presenting a music compilation of some of my favourite compositions from the series.
Higher Ground (Paramount and Lions Gate Television) created by Michael Braverman and Matt Hastings, and starring Joe Lando (Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman) and Hayden Christensen (Star Wars) is a drama that follows a group of troubled and abused high school students at a therapeutic boarding school in the Pacific Northwest as they navigate adolescence in the aftermath of their home troubles. Filmed in Vancouver, Canada, additional teen actors include Jewel Staite, AJ Cook, Kandyse McClure, Jorgito Vargas Jr., Meghan Cry, and Kyle Downes. Daryl Bennett, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has been composing award winning scores for film and television for over 30 years. In 2022, Daryl was honoured to receive the Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Award for Achievement in the Arts, has won seven Leo Awards, two SOCAN awards, and has been nominated for two GRAMMYs, a Gemini, a Canadian Screen Award, and a Genie.
