Lucas Charlie Rose, 26, is a trans hip hop artist who founded Canada’s first all-trans record label called Trans Trenderz. Originally from France, Lucas has made Montreal his home. He speaks passionately about the importance for trans people of colour to have strong support networks, which he says is critical to curbing the high suicide rate that exists in this population.
