Savage 340 Project (Early 1950's)

This video will be the first in a what I’m hoping is a short series in the kind of maintenance and or upgrade of a pretty old weird hunting from the early 1950’s. The rifle in question the Savage 340 this particular is the no letter designation so if you have one of these rifles there were many variants and upgrades. The variants being the A,B,C,D,E, and S. Most of the letter changes were made based on small parts needing to be changed to work for new calibers introduced to the system. The S variant was just a nicer version with a different rear sight and a checkered stock. Hopefully you liked this video and subscribed if you like this sort of stuff.
