Mary Maxim Crochet & Knit Club April 2024

The Mary Maxim Knit Club for April 2024 is a pretty shawl (and a straight-forward pattern) in a lovely yarn that has a $27 price tag per skein (x2). The yarn is on sale right now, but they are sold out of the gorgeous brown in the kit. Even at the sale price, that makes the yarn value $40 alone! It's a fantastic deal!

The Crochet club is pretty, but a terrible bargain at a $3.99 price tag for each skein (x3). The yarn is on sale at at least 2 websites for $2.50 right now. Even at regular price, that's a yarn value of $11.97. Since the kit is $18.99 plus shipping, that is a terrible, terrible deal!

When people quit Mary Maxim, it's because of bad deals like this. Fortunately, the knit club more than made up for it this month!
