Dr. Frank Lipman is the acclaimed Integrative Physician who has worked with Donna Karan, Kevin Bacon and Gwyneth Paltrow, to name just a few. From a very young age growing up in South Africa, he had a first-hand glimpse at the stark divide in medicine. There were the indigenous healers and there were Medical Doctors. As an MD, he has made it his mission to offer his clients a customized blend of Western medicine with integrative approaches like acupuncture, nutritional counseling and relaxation techniques. He is the founder and director of Eleven Eleven Wellness Center in New York City. He's particularly focused on how people can reclaim their vitality and their zest for life.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
