PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Looking for an easy painting idea? Want to do a fun craft DIY project? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a moose sipping from a river in winter sunrise (or sunset) —a beautiful landscape animal portrait “SUNRISE MORNING MOOSE”. I love animals and thoroughly enjoy going to the zoo. I’ve been to many zoos all over the world and some of my favorites are the Basel Zoo in Switzerland, the Beijing Zoo in China, the Miami Zoo in Florida, and the Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Disney World, even though Disney would deny emphatically that Animal Kingdom was, in fact, as zoo. They even developed a campaign slogan many years ago of “nahtazu”, a fictional word to let people know that the park was “not a zoo”. Get it? Being able to walk around and see so many beautiful animals is awesome for sure, but I also really enjoy taking pictures of the animals and using them as inspiration for paintings. Interestingly enough, the one animal that I have never seen in any zoo has been the moose. I’ve seen plenty of photographs and video of moose, but there is nothing as awe inspiring as seeing one in person. I’ve only seen 2 moose in person, both times I was driving in my car and had to pull over and watch them in amazement. They are massive creatures! Long legs, ginormous body, huge head, and gargantuan antlers. These beautiful beasts are a sight to behold so join me and paint with acrylics a moose in winter and capture the splendor of these magnificent mammals. The painting process is so simple to follow. You’ll first learn how to paint a background and base coat for the brook with atmospheric dimension using wintery colors to capture the essence of a gentle quiet tranquil scene. Then you’ll learn how to paint distant trees, sunset, river, and snow. You’ll also learn how to use a one brushstroke technique to paint trees in the foreground, followed by using a dotting or stippling technique to create snow resting on the branches. Then, after learning how to draw a moose using a dot-to-dot method, you’ll apply a simple basecoat to work off of. You will then create realistic looking dimension with properly placed highlights and shadows, followed by layering colors to give your mammoth moose form and texture in his head, legs and body. You will learn how to paint details in the face, mouth and antlers giving your woodland creature a realistic 3-D effect like a photograph. It's so easy to make your moose come alive as he drinks from the stream with just a few colors, strokes, and outlines. You can personalize the painting by adding grass and flowers for a spring or summer landscape, or paint a deer, bunny or birds. The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. Using only 2 brushes and 6 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping!
