The standard slow charger has served me well for 9 months, but with another EV on the way, wanted a backup plan in case we needed to charge a car more rapidly.

Installing a wall charger in the garage was going to cost a LOT as the garage was on the other side of a 2 storey house.

A cost efficient solution was to install a 32A 5 pin plug at the switchboard, and buy a matching tail for my Tesla mobile charger. That said the Tesla wall charger is one of the cheapest on the market and works well, and I would have installed one if the location was more convenient.

Anyway, this is a little spiel on how it worked for me and hope you get some use out of the video.
