After it was teased in a promotional video uploaded on YouTube and posted on Twitter by Compile Heart, the new Neptunia game has been announced in the latest issue of the Japanese video game magazine Weekly Famitsu, Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution (『超次元ゲイム ネプテューヌ GameMaker R:Evolution』、Choujigen Game Neptune GameMaker R:Evolution), for Sony PlayStation 5, Sony PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It will launch in Japan on August 10, 2023. The protagonist is Adult Neptune (大人ネプテューヌ, Otona Neptune), voiced by Rie Tanaka (田中理恵, Tanaka Rie).
