In this video, you’ll practice hearing and repeating 90+ French phrases and expressions that are commonly used by native speakers in everyday life, professional settings, and more nuanced conversations. These phrases are perfect for learners at the B1-B2 level (intermediate learners) who want to sound more natural and confident in real-life situations — and they’re not the same ones you’d find in stuffy textbooks!

I’ll speak each phrase once at normal speed, then repeat it slowly so you can hear the correct pronunciation and repeat after me. You’ll also see the English translation on the screen if you want to read it to help you understand and remember. Feel free to pause if you need extra time!

This lesson will help you build your confidence when speaking AND improve your ability to understand French in a variety of contexts. Let’s get started!
