Victorian Railways HO scale Electrics - August 2021

Описание к видео Victorian Railways HO scale Electrics - August 2021

A running session with my current fleet of VR 'sparks,' including the four car Tait set, Tait Parcels van and my two L class locos. My layout is a small point-to-point track plan, with East Yard on one side, then the main line running up a steep ramp (about 1 in 27) to Upper Glen Park, which is sort of supposed to be a small Melbourne outer suburban terminus. Upper Glen Park has been recently populated with some overhead wire poles, which are some experimental 3D prints made by ‪@melbournesparks3828‬. Trains running in this session are as follows:

00:00 - Class leader L1150 was the only L class painted in the VicRail 'teacup' livery. We see it running over and coupling to a mixed suburban goods consist, before leading it up the hill to Upper Glen Park.
01:20 - Once the goods has arrived, a suburban service formed by a four car Tait set departs for East Yard.
02:05 - Back up the hill, L1150 runs around the consist and shunts it to No.3 road, the goods siding.
03:20 - Tait parcels van 1CM shunts of out West Siding A at East Yard, then runs up the hill to Upper Glen Park, where it shunts to the short siding a the Up end to stable.
04:50 - Back down at East Yard, L1158 in classic VR blue & gold livery departs with a passenger train, consisting of a 'D' luggage van and three car N set.
05:30 - After the arrival of the passenger train, L1150 shunts from the goods siding to the mainline, then couples to L1158 to form a double header on the return service.
07:36 - The four car Tait departs East Yard and runs back to Upper Glen Park with the last train of the day.

The Tait cars and L class locos are all ready-to-run products from Auscision, as is the 'N set' seen on L1158's train. The goods train is made up of a mixture of RTR and kit built vehicles.
