The engine light does come on for 2005 models and onwards - this normally happens 2 days after disabling the TRC. An OBD2 scanner shows this is a P0606 fault and it is easily cleared with an OBD2 scanner or by disconnecting the battery. Use the following hack to disable the TRC and VSC in a Toyota Prado 120. The engine must be off when disconnecting or reconnecting any fuses or plugs. I am not liable for anything you have learnt watching this video and make no guarantees.
