post grad diaries | slow and sweet, karaoke, musuem job, final days in Eugene

hiiiii friends!
this is my first-ever YouTube video! eeeee! so I'm probably talking to the void but happy to be here nonetheless. I graduated college in June and I've been living in my college town until I make my first big girl move to Portland (admittedly, a two-hour move but baby steps). As I write this, I am half moved into my Portland home, with some of my belongings still in Eugene. So those bedroom clips already make me nostalgic (ugh Ik ik, such a sap).

Life post-grad has been slowwww, a complete contrast to my college life, and I've been journaling, and reflecting every day. Like everyday fr. Like two times a day fr. What's a girl to do with all her thoughts and dreams... I wrote once, "I want to capture this sweet transitional summer This time is sacred and it's all mind to mold and shape." The slowness lends itself perfectly to vlogging I think, typically in college, I filled my days with constant noise and fun of people (I am a huge extrovert so), classes, jobs, and extracurriculars - but finally, I can live slowly again (for a bit hehe).

One thing I've been doing post-grad is catching up on what it seems like 4 years of YouTube. Frankly, I was too busy during college to even think about watching YouTube videos, which is strange, considering how YouTube has really shaped my life since childhood. This time around, I've had the biggest desire to start making YouTube videos and I know it would be a disservice to myself if I never started. It really terrifies me however but that's why I know I have to do it (growingggg pains) !

Technically, I don't know what I'm doing with my life... I do not plan to pursue work in my major (B.S in Advertising at the University of Oregon lol), but I'm so thankful for my major and college experience at large. I also am so so excited to figure it out!! I'm only 21! I have my whole life ahead of me, right
