There are 2 ways to make Solgaleo interesting. First way is play with endurance and power reserve 5. If you manage to play this right, Solgaleo will be a total killer with power reserve 5. This yields a challenge and satisfaction akin to those of successfully pulling off a power reserve 16 Pikachu sweep. The second way is to make full use of brainteaser, which challenges yourself to think how to maximize the Sp Defense debuff which is quite hard to achieve by Solgaleo alone. This is significantly less rewarding achievement wise but ALOT easier than pulling off power reserve 5. Unless you are hitting steel weakness, your main attack would mostly be Focus Blast. We don't face that many opponents with endurance anyways.

Solgaleo's grid is very "colorless" for the lack of a better word. It's very straight forward and never meant to be over complicated. So there really isn't anything else interesting you can get from Solgaleo's sync grid. Slap on the move and stat power-ups and roll on into battle. I'm also working on an Umbreon VS Battle Villa video and that's infinitely more interesting to me...

In this video's case, I brought Solgaleo into the Battle Challange part 2 in Masters of Land and Sea event in Pokemon Masters. I figured a neutral setting would be better to test Solgaleo's power. I went with a Brainteaser setup with Alcremie for the debuffs and Samurott for everything else.
