In this video, we take you to Laem Chabang Port, the main cruise terminal for visiting Bangkok (2 hours away) and Pattaya (50 minutes away). While it's a major stop on many Southeast Asia cruise itineraries, this port comes with a few surprises!

🚖 Transportation tip: Although Grab is supposed to work here, we couldn’t find a driver when we disembarked. We ended up taking a taxi instead — so make sure to arrange your transport in advance or join an organized excursion.

🚛 The port is also a container hub, so expect heavy truck traffic and an industrial setting around the terminal.

🎯 We had planned to visit an island near Pattaya, but the idea of 50 minutes by car plus 1 hour by boat each way felt too much — especially with rainy weather. So we made the most of our day onboard instead!
